Grandma says good things come to those who wait, and her Chhole Chatpate recipe is worth it. First, we soak raw chickpeas in batches overnight, then boil them. Next, we roast and grind our own fresh spices to flavor our sauce. Finally, we add the chickpeas to the sauce and simmer until our labor of love is complete. Spicy!
